This ancient woodland is now a rare habitat in Scotland and the area is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI).
We will have an easy and leisurely walk of about 5km (there and back) following the Glenkinnon Burn through mixed woodland and then on to more open country with herb-rich grassland and moorland. Expect to see a variety of flowers, birds and insects appropriate to these important SSSI habitats.
Meet at Glenkinnon Car Park (over the Ashiestiel Bridge, then 2nd left) at NT4366 3497. What 3 words - folks.spelled.behalf.
