We will take in woodland, sea, open meadows and marshland. We hope to see plenty of insects and birds, as well as otters, herons at their nests and roe deer with their young.
This wildlife walk is over varied terrain and fairly rough at times. The ground in one area can be very wet but we can avoid this area if need be. This walk is unsuitable for those with limited mobility, as the ground can be fairly steep and rough. Dogs are not allowed to attend this event.
Meet at the layby below Kilbrandon church, Oban PA34 4RJ. It is a short walk to the reserve. The walk will finish at around 4 pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. You may want to bring a picnic or binoculars.
Due to the current need to restrict attendee numbers and for contact tracing purposes, booking through the website is essential. Please note that face-to-face events are subject to Covid-19 restrictions changing at short notice. Any changes to events will be communicated to attendees via email by the organiser. Please check your email in advance of attending events.
Suggested donation: £2 per person, payable when booking or in cash on the day. All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
