Red squirrels: ecology, conservation and reintroductions

An online talk followed by our Christmas wildlife quiz.

The red squirrel is an iconic species and one that faces a range of threats. However, through pioneering conservation work, the future is looking hopeful. Sarah Woodfin, Trees for Life's Red Squirrel Project Manager, will give an overview of red squirrel ecology and conservation efforts, as well as the latest on Trees for Life's work to restore red squirrel populations in the Northwest Highlands. Donald Shields, our longest serving Committee Member, will then round off the evening with our traditional Christmas Wildlife Quiz, which is always good fun.

Booking essential. CHOOSE EITHER the free Household Ticket OR the Household Ticket with Donation (minimum donation £1).
