Northern Damselfly ID Workshop

Join us for a day of learning how to identify and survey for this rare and beautiful damselfly.

Join the British Dragonfly Society to learn ID and recording skills required to help spot and map Northern Damselfly and other species in Perthshire.

The day will start with an indoor session in the newly renovated Crannog hide, where we will learn how to ID a variety of damsel and dragonflies and explore their fascinating lifecycle.

We will then be moving to another outdoor location in the afternoon, where we can apply our newly learnt skills to spotting 'dragons' on the wing.

Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Teas and coffees will be provided, however you may wish to bring a packed lunch. Note we may need to arrange some car sharing to accommodate everyone.

The event is an adults only session.
