We will walk along the loch-side track for several kilometres and back scanning the loch for water birds and the surrounding hills and moorland for birds of prey. In previous years we have seen ring ouzel, osprey, red kite, osprey, merlin, red grouse as well as some interesting alpine and carnivorous plants.
Children welcome but must be with an adult. The track is rough in places and there are some short but steep gradients and a burn to cross. Dogs must be on a short lead. Strong footwear and waterproofs recommended. Binoculars recommended.
