Celebrate International Bat Night 2024 with your local wildlife group!

Join James for a bat walk along the Ythan and learn about these fascinating animals with the Northeast Scotland Bats Group. Listen out for our fluttering friends using bat detectors, and hear from Keith about his ambitious project to install bat-friendly red lighting along the river.

Meet at the riverside car park in Market Street, central Ellon, opposite the New Inn.

Booking essential. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult; no dogs (except assistance dogs) please. Bring a torch. Accessible on public transport.
