What is a BioBlitz?
The aim of a BioBlitz is to take a snapshot of biodiversity by finding and recording all the species present in a particular area in a short space of time.
Join us and a group of experts as we survey the animals, plants and fungi here at Dumbarnie Links! Go on short guided walks around the reserve, learn how to record the nature around you and help us see how many species we can find.
For children, there will be bug-hunting and species spotter sheets to help you explore the dunes in a whole new way. Stay for an hour or the whole day!
Please note there is very limited parking available on site – follow the Fife Coastal Path east for 1 mile/15mins from Lower Largo Car Park (Grid reference NO 422026) and dress for the weather! No facilities on site, nearest toilets in Lower Largo village.
