Caring for the environment on a working farm

Come along to discover the impressive biodiversity at Whitmuir Farm in Selkirk.

Join us for a walk around the mixed farmland at Whitmuir Farm, Selkirk, to see how management, and caring for the environment and wildlife can often work together.

The tour is 2 to 3 miles, across partly rough/uneven ground with some elevation changes. It can take up to 3 hours to get around. Please bring a packed lunch and a drink for a picnic outdoors, or inside, depending on the weather.

Please provide the details of a person we may contact on your behalf in an emergency, so that we can respond appropriately. We will require a name and mobile number for each person attending at the time of booking. Please provide details of any medical condition you would like the event organiser to know about, at the time of booking, to enable an appropriate response in an emergency.

Bookable face-to-face events may be subject to change at short notice, which will be communicated to attendees via email by the organiser. Please check your email in advance of attending events. Note that booking generally ends two hours prior to the event start time. If you wish to book to attend after registration has ended, and there are places still available, please contact the organiser direct using the details above.
