Celebrate Burns Night with a woodland walk around beautiful Ayr Gorge Woodlands. Discover its connection to Robert Burns and find out how the Scottish Wildlife Trust are managing the site both for wildlife and visitors alike.
This event will take place at: Ayr Gorge Woodlands Wildlife Reserve, Failford Village (off the B743), KA5 5TF.
Booking essential. Be prepared to walk 2-3miles with some steps and hilly sections. Family friendly but children 8 years and over only please, and must be with an adult. No dogs except assistance dogs. Bring binoculars and wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Parking nearby and accessible by public transport.
Places are limited to a small group of 18 and therefore must be booked. (It is also important that Harry is able to contact attendees should the event have to be cancelled or to convey any changes to plan.)
Free event but donations welcome (suggested donation £2 per person). All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
