Big butterfly count

Become a beastie hunter in our wildflower meadows. Explore the small things and help with the Butterfly Conservation's 'Big Butterfly Hunt'. All equipment supplied; this is a great way to get involved in Citizen Science, and overall a brilliant summer family event.

Gailes Marsh Wildlife Reserve, Marine Drive, Irvine, KA11 5AE.

Family friendly but children must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs allowed except assistance dogs. The venue is accessible by public transport and has parking nearby.

Places are limited to a small group of 15, so please contact Harry Richards on 07785 468 601 or hrichards@scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk for further information and to reserve your place. (It is also important that Harry is able to contact attendees should the event have to be cancelled or to convey any changes to plan.)

Suggested donation: £2 per person. You can donate on the day. All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
