Badgers in the Scottish Borders

Join us for a talk by Lisa McLeish about badgers, their ecology and their role in the wider environment, and learn how you can help these special creatures.

Badgers are one of our best known mammals. In this talk, Lisa will cover all the badger basics including their biology, habitat, behaviour, threats and the laws regarding their protection. Using footage from trail cameras and photographs from local setts, Lisa will introduce you to the hidden world of the badger before giving an overview of the work of Scottish Badgers and the local branch, including what you can do to help protect these fascinating creatures.

Meet at Volunteer Hall, Langtongate, Duns, TD11 3AF.
