Ardmore wildlife walk

Join us for a walk at this Site of Special Scientific Interest

Ardmore Point is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is especially significant for birdwatching. Visiting in mid May offers opportunities to see species such as cormorants, shags, terns and dunlin. There are occasional sightings of hen harriers.

Meet at Ardmore Point Car Point, Ardmore Road, Cardross, G82 5HE. Grid reference NS 325786.

Suggested donation: £2 per person, payable when booking or in cash on the day. All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.

Bookable face-to-face events may be subject to change at short notice, which will be communicated to attendees via email by the organiser. Please check your email in advance of attending events.

Booking essential. Children 8 years +. Children must be with adult. Please bring binoculars if you have them and wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. No dogs allowed except assistance dogs. Parking available and the location is accessible by public transport.
