Join us for a walk by Whiteadder Water

Join us for a walk along both sides of the Whiteadder Water from Abbey St Bathans and returning to the start point. In this very quet area there will be a great a opportunity to see and hear the birdlife, and to watch for activity on the river.

Directions to car park from Duns: Head north from Duns town centre on the A6112 then take the left fork signed for Cranshaws.(B6365) After about 2-3 miles, turn right onto the road signed to Abbey St Bathans and follow this narrow road until you see the sawmill on your left. Just after this is a right turn (Woodlands Cafe) and the parking area is about 100 yards further and before reaching the ford.

Family friendly but children over 8 years only please - children must be with an adult. There is no disabled access. The walk is over some rough ground and by a river bank so suitable clothing and footwear is required.
