The walk will be a leisurely stroll down the Kelvin, and we will be joined by Pat Thomson who will share her knowledge and experience of observing kingfishers on this stretch of the Kelvin. Pat is on the Council of the Glasgow Natural History Society and is interested in nature in general. She lives near the Kelvin, which is her local patch. We hope to see goosanders and dippers as well as kingfishers, all of which are likely target species.

The café in the art galleries is an option for lunch, or bring a packed lunch if you wish. Children 8 years and over only, and must be with an adult please. Bring binoculars and wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. There is parking nearby and accessible on public transport.
