Sandy the Squirrel’s adventures caught on video

Sandy the Squirrel – the Trust's epic adventurer – set out from Aberdeen early on 30 November to complete a very special mission.

In days gone by, red squirrels would have been able to get from one side of Scotland to the other without touching the ground, simply by jumping from tree to tree. Unfortunately, thanks to habitat loss, urban development and the spread of grey squirrels northward, the only way Sandy can make this journey now is by public transport!
