Children invited to join a great day out

Children are invited to join a great day out to the gardens of Scone Palace as part of an outing on Sunday 23 August (1 – 3 pm) planned by the young people’s branch of Scottish Wildlife Trust (SWT); Wildlife Watch.

The Scottish Wildlife Watch club, a club for young nature enthusiasts (aged 8 – 14 years), aims to get young people outdoors, engaged with wildlife and having fun. Watch works to help children and young people develop a positive relationship with their environment, letting them discover for themselves how human activity can influence our surroundings and the wildlife we share them with.

This trip which is open to everyone, including non-SWT members, is a unique opportunity to explore and discover the amazing plants in the butterfly and wild gardens, as well as see the mysterious five-pointed Murray Star Maze!

All this fun for just 50p for each child! Spaces are limited, so if you would like to come along, please phone SWT’s Loch of the Lowes Visitor Centre on 01350 727337 for more details. Non members welcome.
