Coming up on Saturday and Sunday we have our final event for 2015; our Winter Solstice Family Fun Day.

This weekend precedes the shortest day and longest night of the year (Monday 21st December), so to mark this astronomical event we have two days of children’s activities, quizzes and a wintery themed trail.

Come along and find out how the darkest days of winter affect our wildlife.

The centre is open both days between 10:30am and 4pm with activities provided from 11am-3pm. There’s no admission charge for children (adults are just £3.50 and concessions £2.50) although we suggest a £1 per child donation for taking part in the activities.
