Ardmore Point is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is especially significant for birdwatching. Visiting in mid May offers opportunities to see species such as cormorants, shags, terns and dunlin. There are occasional sightings of hen harriers.

Booking essential. Children 8 years +. Children must be with adult. Please bring binoculars if you have them and wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. No dogs allowed except assistance dogs. Parking available and the location is accessible by public transport.
