Wildlife walk at Rora farm

An evening walk to see how conservation and farming combine to improve biodiversity and produce delicious yoghurt.

Middleton of Rora is an organic farm located on the floodplain of the River Ugie near Peterhead. Join us for an evening walk to find out how biodiversity is being enhanced with buffer strips and new hedgerows providing wildlife corridors, and copses and riparian woodland increasing habitat and aiding in flood mitigation.

The walk will be on easy farm tracks and paths which may be uneven and muddy in places. Please consider bio security by cleaning footware e.g. wellingtons. Please dress as appropriate for the weather. Sunscreen and insect repellent may be advisable. Please car share if possible. Adults only. Sorry, no dogs. Details of the meeting location will be sent upon booking.
