Film screening: “Why Not Scotland?”

Rewilding is happening across Europe, so Why Not Scotland?

From Scotland: The Big Picture. Across mainland Europe, nature is making a dramatic recovery. Wildlife is returning, forests expanding, rivers meandering and wetlands restored. People are also returning, finding new economic opportunities and enjoying the many benefits of a revitalised landscape. So, if rewilding can happen in Italy, Germany, Poland and Norway, could Scotland be next? The film screening will be followed by discussion, raffles and coffee/tea.

Event will be held in the Upstairs Hall of Meffan Museum and Art Gallery, with the film starting at 7:30pm.

Family friendly. There is disabled access. Meffan Museum and Art Gallery is accessible by public transport. The nearest car park is Myre Car Park. No dogs allowed except assistance dogs.

Suggested donation: £5 per person. All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
