Fungi foray

Join a local specialist and discover Balgay Hill's fungi in all their many and beautiful forms. This is a guided walk led by Angus and Dundee Group's very own fungus expert, Jim, who will introduce you to the many and very beautiful fungi that inhabit Balgay Hill. Depending on conditions in the previous two or three weeks, we may find a good range of fungi in both grassland and woodland.

This event will take place at Balgay Hill, Dundee DD2 2JQ. We'll be meeting at 2pm, close to the northern gate (NO376307) at the end of the short road to the south off the Glamis Road. Do remember your binoculars, and a torch, and to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. Children must be over 8 years old and accompanied by an adult. The location has disabled access, there is parking nearby and it is accessible by public transport. No dogs except assistance dogs please.
