Sign up today to celebrate 60 years of the Scottish Wildlife Trust and raise much needed funds for Scotland’s wildlife and wild places.

 

60 Your Way

How you challenge yourself is entirely up to you. From walking or cycling, to baking or knitting – the opportunities are endless! To help inspire you, we’ve suggested some activities below:

  • Walk 60,000 steps
  • Run 60km
  • Swim 600 laps
  • Bake 60 cakes
  • Cycle 60 miles
  • Knit 60 items
  • Draw 60 pictures
  • Spot 60 birds

However you choose to take part, all funds raised will go directly toward protecting Scotland’s wildlife.

 

Getting started

Taking part is easy! Once you’ve identified your challenge, simply head to our JustGiving site and set up your fundraising page. Then, set yourself a fundraising target and start spreading the word by sharing your page with family and friends through social media or by email.

 

What’s more, as a thank you for taking part and raising £60 or more, we’ll send you a prize when you’ve completed your challenge!

Raise £60 and you’ll receive a personalised 60th Anniversary Challenge certificate.

Raise £100 and you’ll receive a Scottish Wildlife Trust t-shirt and a personalised 60th Anniversary Challenge certificate.

Or raise £150 or more and you’ll receive a special Scottish Wildlife Trust tote goody bag!

To receive yours, please make sure to contact fundraising@scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk to let us know how much you’ve raised and where we should send your prize.

Challenge yourself

Sign up to take part in our 60th Anniversary Challenge today and start raising funds for Scotland’s most vulnerable species.

Terms and conditions

  • By taking part in the 60th Anniversary Challenge, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge and belief, you are healthy and fit to complete your chosen activity, understand and have considered and evaluated the nature, scope and extent of the risks involved, and have voluntarily and freely chosen to participate entirely at your own risk.
  • By taking part in the 60th Anniversary Challenge, you confirm that you will not knowingly participate in any activity as all or part of your challenge which could cause illness or injury to yourself or others.
  • By taking part in the 60th Anniversary Challenge you acknowledge that completing your chosen activity will be done entirely at your own risk. You agree that you will not hold the Scottish Wildlife Trust or any of its representatives responsible for any illness, injury or loss that might occur as a result of your participation.
  • Participants in the 60th Anniversary Challenge must fundraise using the JustGiving platform only.
  • To qualify for a participation prize, your challenge must be completed by 11.59pm on Monday 30 September 2024.
  • Only one participation prize will be awarded per eligible JustGiving fundraising page.
  • Participation prizes will only be sent to a UK address.
  • To be eligible for a participation prize, you must reach one of the following minimum thresholds:
    • Raise £60 to be eligible for a challenge certificate
    • Raise £100 to be eligible for both a challenge certificate and a t-shirt
    • Raise £150 or more to be eligible for a goody bag
  • Participation prizes cannot be changed or exchanged for cash or for an alternative item.
  • To claim your participation prize, you must contact our Fundraising Team at fundraising@scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk or on 0131 312 4700 to confirm funds raised and to provide your address.
  • Participation prizes must be claimed by 31 October 2024.
  • By taking part in the 60th Anniversary Challenge you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • The Scottish Wildlife Trust reserves the right to cancel or amend the 60th Anniversary Challenge and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of anything outside of our control. Any changes will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
  • The personal information you provide when setting up your JustGiving page may be used to contact you with any necessary information about the 60th Anniversary Challenge and any associated participation prize you may be eligible to receive.
