Longhaven – a summer’s walk

Learn about Longhaven reserve and watch the seabird colonies during breeding season.

Join Ranger Louise and marine biologist Peter on a summer’s walk along Longhaven Cliffs. Learn about the history of the reserve and current conservation work and watch the seabird colonies where kittiwakes, guillemots and razorbills gather in their thousands to nest. Bring binoculars!

This is a clifftop walk along narrow paths. Please consider individual fitness and ability before signing up. Adults only; no dogs. Please remember a packed lunch. Appropriate outdoor clothing including long trousers and a waterproof recommended. Stout footwear required. And don’t forget your sunscreen!

We will meet at the Longhaven Cliffs Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve car park, grid reference NK 11226 39857. Parking is free.

Booking essential. Spaces are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Suggested donation: £2 per person (you can donate when you book or in person on the day). All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
