Wildlife at Burdiehouse Burn

Explore the incredible wildlife that calls the City of Edinburgh home, and learn about how animals use the Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park to navigate through the urban environment.

Join us at Burdiehouse Burn from 11am to 3pm to find out about how nature makes its home within a city. We will have a series of family activities that let you get close to the wildlife in Edinburgh’s wild spaces, explore the sights and sounds of the burn, and find out how animals use wildlife corridors like the Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park to move through the city.

Find us at the entrance to the nature reserve beside Gilmerton Grocers, on Gilmerton Dykes Street. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Family-friendly with a variety of activities suitable for adults and children, this event is part of the Edinburgh Living Landscape project. For more information about the project, visit edinburghlivinglandscape.org.uk
