Wildlife at Holyrood Park

Discover the hidden treasures of Holyrood Park, exploring its incredible biodiversity and geological wonders.

There are many natural treasures to be found in Holyrood Park beyond the palace and the parliament. Drop in and join us between 11am and 3pm for a number of family activities, exploring not just the incredible biodiversity of the most famous wild space in Edinburgh, but also the rocks that form the birthplace of geology itself!

Find us at the south-west end of St Margaret’s Loch within the park, where we will use kit that gets you to grips with the sights and sound of Edinburgh’s wild spaces.

Family-friendly with a variety of activities suitable for adults and children, this event is part of the Edinburgh Living Landscape project. For more information about the project, visit edinburghlivinglandscape.org.uk
