Fungus foray at Montreathmont Forest

A walk to discover what fungi are present in Montreathmont Forest, a large woodland near Forfar, three miles south of Brechin. The forest is home to a host of wildlife, including woodpeckers, goshawks and deer.

Meet at Myre Car Park, Forfar, DD8 2AZ at 2pm (parking near the forest is very limited).

Children over 8 years only please, and must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear stout footwear and suitable clothing, and bring binoculars. Parking nearby. No dogs (except assistance dogs) please.
