Bob has always felt very close to the natural world but a painful epiphany on the consequences of our disconnection with nature brought a radical change in his life and career, refocusing on our innate connection to nature. A PhD led to Bob holding key supporting roles with North Wales Wildlife Trust, the Welsh Government and others.
Founder of the Voices of Connection Project, his experience in strategy, governance and business planning is combined with his passion for bringing nature and people together in new and inclusive ways. Bob lives in Comrie but is outside whenever possible.

Jenny is a Finance Manager at the Church of Scotland, with specific responsibilities for General Trustees. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2009 and worked in practice for 16 years. During this time, Jenny specialised in charity audit and accounting, working with a wide range of Scottish charities. She joined the Church of Scotland in 2021.
Moving out of practice has allowed Jenny the time to get involved in the wider charity sector, as a trustee and member of technical charity panels. Away from work, Jenny is a keen runner, to balance out her love of baking.
The successful candidates will be announced at our AGM, taking place on Saturday 20 September at Dundee Contemporary Arts and online.
Please note that voting closes at midnight on Thursday 4 September.
