On Sunday 15th July, we are absolutely delighted (and very excited) to not only have professional Storyteller Lindsey Gibb telling fabulous stories about bees (2-3pm) but also … the wonderful ‘Beespoon’: an interactive exhibit which will be running 11am-4pm at Lowes!

The Beespoon, together with the interactive aspects of the project, demonstrate how bees collect pollen and produce honey. This intriguing, custom made project is coming to us on loan from the University of York as part of the ‘Telling the Bees’ https://www.tellingthebees.buzz/.

Do you know how much honey a bee makes during its lifetime? This and other questions will be answered in a fun, informative way for children and adults alike. It is a free event with suggested donations of £2 per child.
