More Beaver Watches and Latest Beaver News

Wednesday night’s beaver watch proved to be another great success, with plenty of sightings of beavers on the reserve. We had a close encounter as an adult beaver swam past the hide, diving under briefly allowing for a lovely view of it swimming underwater. Later in the evening there were several sightings of beavers swimming across the Loch.

In other beaver news, a kit has been spotted on one of our cameras so it appears that our resident beaver family have had another successful breeding season.

Other sightings in the evening included terns, goosander chicks, a large flock of graylag geese, and some lovely views of our male osprey perched across the Loch.
