Great grebe photos!
Having said in my blog post yesterday that we hadn’t managed to get any photos of the great crested grebe with her chicks, lo and behold I’ve been sent this lovely image of the new mum with her offspring by one of our volunteers Marion who was on duty in the hides yesterday.
We’ve also been sent this cracking photo of the male carrying a fish back to his mate to feed the chicks. It was taken last weekend by visitor Margaret Dundas – thanks very much for sharing Margaret!
