Still Waiting!

Just a wee note to say that we are still waiting for an egg to be laid.

After a windy morning under clear blue skies, the clouds are now rolling in and there’s a chill in the air. Rain is not far away. Fortunately, both ospreys have worked hard at creating a deep ‘egg cup’ in the floor of the  nest to receive the eggs. This will mean that when they are incubating the eggs they should be well cuddled down into the dip and the wind can whistle over their heads as much as it wants.

So, for now … we shall keep our fingers crossed for an egg and look forward to passing on the good news soon.
