Clyde
Clyde Members Centre covers nine local authorities in west-central Scotland. Most of Scotland's landscapes and habitats are found here, from urban greenspaces, lochs and wetlands, to plains, mountains, forests and the sea.
Forthcoming events:
Wed, May 30th: Wildflower Identification for Beginners. 7pm-9pm. Meet Merklands Nature Park car park, Merkland Drive, Kirkintilloch.
What we do
The Clyde Members Centre supports the work of the Scottish Wildlife Trust at a local level. We do this by:
- organising an indoor and outdoor programme of talks and walks
- offering opportunities for workshops and practical conservation
- fund-raising
- publicising the work of the Trust wherever possible
How to get involved
Volunteers can help out with:
- wildlife surveys
- monitoring planning applications
- practical conservation work on Trust reserves
- fund-raising and manning stalls at events
- children's Wildlife Watch groups
- committee work
