Shiell Street reserve visit

Visit the Shiell Street reserve in the company of the Dundee Miley Group!

The Broughty Ferry Local Nature Reserve is home to bank voles which live among the long grass and are often seen crossing the paths or areas of short grass. Look and listen out for toads, tawny owls and various songbirds. Roe deer can sometimes be spotted hiding among the undergrowth. The reserve supports bluebells, sea lyme grass and meadow saxifrage, among many others.

Venue: The Esplanade, Broughty Ferry, Dundee, DD5 2TD. Meet on the Esplanade at the end of the houses - in Broughty Ferry, beside the beach. There is plenty of parking.
