‘Nature reclaiming industry’ guided walk at Knockshinnoch Lagoons

Join us on a guided walk to explore Knockshinnoch Lagoons Wildlife Reserve. Starting at the New Cumnock Town Hall, we will walk to this fascinating reserve. Nature has reclaimed the former coal mining workings into a superb wildlife site. We will take a leisurely walk and learn about its history and wildlife.

Places on the walk are limited to a small group of 15 and therefore must be booked. Please contact Harry Richards on 07785 468 601 or hrichards@scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk for further information and to reserve your place. (It is also important that Harry is able to contact attendees should the walk have to be cancelled or to convey any changes to plan.)

Free event but donations welcome (suggested donation £2 per person). Children must be with an adult, and 8+ years of age; no dogs allowed except assistance dogs; wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear; bring binoculars; parking nearby and accessible on public transport.

Meet at New Cumnock Town Hall, 31-33 Castle, KA18 4AN
