Beaver translocation to Argaty talk

An in-person talk on translocation of beavers to Argaty, the first authorised movement of beavers in Scotland, by Tom Bowser.

Argaty, near Doune, Stirling was the first site in Scotland authorised to rehome beavers from sites where they have proved problematic: a humane alternative to their controversial culling. Come along and hear about the efforts needed to make this happen and its success.

Meet at St Andrew's Church Hall, Leny Road, Callander, FK17 8AL. Parking is available in the grounds of St Andrew's (not on the main road).

To find out more, and for any queries, please contact Lesley Hawkins mlhawkins@tiscali.co.uk

Children over 8 years of age please, and must be accompanied by and adult; disabled access; no dogs except assistance dogs; parking nearby.

Suggested donation: £3 per person (you can donate when you book or in person on the day). All donations help us to continue to bring an interesting and varied selection of events to our audience as well as supporting local wildlife causes. Please donate if you can.
