Action for Nature guided walk at Shewalton Wood

Celebrate the start of our new Action for Nature project with a gentle 5km walk on level paths at the Trust's biggest wildlife reserve in Irvine. There will be lots of chances to stop and talk about nature, and how the Trust is rewilding the site with the help of our fantastic volunteers. Come along and find out how you can be involved in our Action for Nature project!

Places on the walk are limited to a small group of 15 and therefore must be booked. Please contact Harry Richards on 07785 468 601 or hrichards@scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk for further information and to reserve your place. (It is also important that Harry is able to contact attendees should the walk have to be cancelled or to convey any changes to plan.)

Free event but donations welcome (suggested donation £2 per person). Children must be with an adult, and 8+ years of age; no dogs allowed except assistance dogs; wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear; bring binoculars; parking nearby and accessible on public transport.

Meet at Shewalton Wood Wildlife Reserve, Meadowhead Road, Irvine, KA11 5AT.
