Stow Wildlife Watch Group

Stow Wildlife Watch Group is new to the area, having run successfully in Gorebridge during 2018. The group is aimed at families with preschool and primary age children.

We are small and sociable group with a wide age range. As well as our nature activities we enjoy camp fire cookouts and making our own bird food for our feathered friends.

What we do

We spend our sessions exploring the local area for known wildlife such as otters, kingfishers, newts, heron, squirrels, deer, foxes, badgers and hedgehogs as well as many birds of prey. We have been busy building habitats to promote and preserve local wildlife and are about to start working on a family friendly wildlife heritage trail with GCDT.
