Shoreline Wildlife Watch Group

Based in Portobello, Shoreline Wildlife Watch group explore the shoreline and surrounding areas. The group is for young children aged 0 – 6 years and their parents, and meets every Friday afternoon.

What we do

We use the Wildlife Watch magazines to give the sessions structure, combining free play in nature and exploration with a different theme, question or topic each week to guide our session activity. As the group grows, we hope to get involved in some hands on conservation work too, in partnership with the Shoreline Project (run by Edinburgh Botanic Garden) and the Local Nature Reserve rangers.
