North Edinburgh Wildlife Watch is a  group for 8-12 year olds to experience nature in a fun and friendly environment. Run in partnership with North Edinburgh arts, these monthly sessions provide lots of fun at sites across the area.


What we do

Members of North Edinburgh Wildlife Watch group will take part in all sorts of fun activities, from mini beast hunting to natural crafts. There’s something for everyone and a chance to learn new skills too!

To find out more and to book your place, please contact the Leaders using the contacts section of this page. This group is for children from the North Edinburgh area, who are good neighbourhood members at North Edinburgh Arts.

Building a Batty Neighbourhood


Meet at Gypsy Brae.

Continuing on from our bat box installation we will be installing 2 more boxes and checking bat activity on site. As a group, we will walk an explore the wildflower meadows along the coastline and educate about the importance of plants as habitats and food sources for pollinators, while having a huge amount of fun.
