Gorebridge Wildlife Watch Group

Gorebridge Wildlife Watch (nicknamed The Red Squirrels) is a group aimed at families with preschool and primary age children which runs in association with the Gorebridge Community Development Trust.

We are small and sociable group with a wide age range. As well as our nature activities we enjoy camp fire cookouts and making our own bird food for our feathered friends.

What we do

We spend our sessions exploring the local area for known wildlife such as otters, kingfishers, newts, heron, squirrels, deer, foxes, badgers and hedgehogs as well as many birds of prey. We have been busy building habitats to promote and preserve local wildlife and are about to start working on a family friendly wildlife heritage trail with GCDT.
