Wildlife Watch Leader – Three Hares Woodland (Roslin)

Title: Wildlife Watch Leader

Status: Voluntary

Location: Three Hares Woodland, near Roslin and Auchendinny

Closing date: 29/02/2020 – (Role may be filled prior to this date if multiple applicants)

Please note – the completion of an application to the PVG scheme is essential for this role, due to the close work involved with young people. Successful applicants will be supported through this simple application and costs covered by Scottish Wildlife Trust.

The next induction opportunity at the Three Hares Woodland site will be 01 February 2020 (useful but not essential to be available for this date).

What we are looking for:

  • An interest in wildlife
  • Creativity
  • Good organisational skills
  • Enjoys the outdoors
  • Enthusiastic about helping children to have fun discovering wildlife
  • Available for one Friday afternoon a month (Dates TBC)

Useful but not essential

  • Experience of working with children
  • Lives locally
  • First aid qualified
  • Experience of working or volunteering for conservation
