Residential Species Protection Volunteer – Loch of the Lowes

Title: Species Protection Volunteer (2 volunteers needed)

Time Commitment: Full time during breeding season in shifts (mid March to early June although dates could vary)

Location: Loch of the Lowes, Perthshire

Closing date: 31 January 2020

We are looking for two residential volunteers to assist at our Osprey Protection Programme at Loch of the Lowes, supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. This is a great opportunity to join the team at this busy wildlife reserve at a very exciting time of the year. You will be given the chance to learn all about our ospreys and other wildlife with opportunities to develop new skills and experience, whilst giving valuable support to the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

What we’re looking for

  • ability to live and work with others with limited personal space
  • flexibility, reliability and availability
  • commitment to the full duration of the volunteer role
  • ability to communicate with the public
