The wood ants of the Forest of Birse

Join Dr Jenni Stockan on a forest walk to learn all about wood ants.

See the amazing wood ants, and their nests, for yourself at Birse in the company of an enthusiastic expert. The event includes a four-hour walk. Booking is essential and must be made by 2 September, please.

Family friendly but children must be with an adult. Bring a packed lunch and wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

This event will take place at Forest of Birse with exact meeting place forwarded after booking has ended. Car parking nearby.
