Strathkelvin

This Group covers East Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire and south-west Stirling. Stretching from the Kelvin Valley to the Campsie Fells, the area contains a wide range of wildlife habitats.

What we do

The Strathkelvin Group supports the work of the Scottish Wildlife Trust at a local level. We do this by:

organising an indoor and outdoor programme of talks and walks
offering opportunities for workshops and practical conservation
fund-raising
publicising the work of the Trust wherever possible

How to get involved

Volunteers can help out with:

wildlife surveys
monitoring planning applications
practical conservation work on Trust reserves
fund-raising and manning stalls at events
children's Wildlife Watch groups
committee work
