30 Days Wild

I am very excited to announce that the Falls of Clyde Ranger Team are taking part in The Wildlife Trust’s 30 Days Wild Challenge. The Wildlife Trust is asking you to make room for nature this June – no matter where you are or how busy your life! We are taking part and we hope you will join us in making this the month when you do something wild every day – and we are here along with The Wildlife Trust to help motivate you! You can sign up to the challenge online by visiting 30 Days Wild. They will send you a pack full of encouragement, ideas and Random Acts of Wildness. You’ll also receive a funky printable wall chart to track your progress and regular blasts of inspiration straight to your inbox to help you make nature part of your life. We are taking part on our Facebook and Twitter account with ideas to wet your appetite for the great outdoors!

All our lives are better if they’re a bit wild don’t you think? There are loads of simple ways you can connect with nature or as The Wildlife Trust likes to call it, ‘Random Acts of Wildness’.  A Random Act of Wildness is any thing that you can do in an average working day to bring a little nature into your life. They can take a few seconds, a few minutes, or if you lose yourself completely, a few hours!

A few ideas include watching a wildlife webcam in your lunch break, go foraging, watch the sunset, climb a tree – the options are endless! Join in on social media using #30DaysWild and #30DaysWildFOC, sharing your pictures, ideas and nature adventures. It’s time to make nature part of your life!
