Disruption to webcams tomorrow

Tomorrow morning at around 9:15am the webcams will go offline for around half an hour. This is to enable the switch-over from our current web streaming provider to a new one, which we hope in the long run will lead to a greatly improved service with far less downtime.

We’ve all been frustrated by the recent problems experienced and hope that this change will go a long way to resolving these. Due to the complicated nature of the camera setup (largely due to the fact that it has grown organically over time) there may still be glitches which need ironing out but with the support of people like our volunteer camera technician Lindsay we’re doing our best to fix them.

Thanks in advance for your understanding

Jonathan
