More feathers
As previously blogged, jays are one of my favourite woodland birds and in keeping with my recent discovery I was lucky enough to find a feather from one of these dazzling birds.
It is one of the feathers which give the jay its most sparkling decoration. These blue feathers make up a small panel on the wing, which look particularly striking on sunny days, when the light reflects off of them.
