Webcam update & early morning news

Morning all,

As you can no doubt see the webcams are still offline. Our web hosting company are doing everything they can to get them back up and running as soon as possible.

In the meantime we continue to directly record all HD footage from the nest to ensure that any hatching event is captured and can be released via our YouTube account.

It was a relatively quiet night on the nest, with the female regularly turning the eggs and occasionally lowering her head to listen for any sounds from within. At 4:44am 7Y landed on the nest carrying half a fish, which he presented to the female. She took the fish and flew off, leaving 7Y to incubate the eggs until her return at 7am.

Having departed the nest upon the female’s return, 7Y was back for a few minutes rearranging nest material, before once again taking over incubation duty at 7:27am.

More news later…
