Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Information 2nd February 2011

Good morning folks!

Apologies for the late posting today, we have been having problems connecting with the internet this end. It’s a cold miserable day here with low cloud cover and chilly drizzle to boot. Jonathan and I did a quick survey of the loch this morning and found fifteen Goldeneye occupying one of the open patches of water on the loch. We also watched in amusement as a Crow landed on a patch of hard ice, legs splayed, attempted a slippery shuffle, gave up then promptly took off again.

 Happy blogging and take care!
