Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Blog 25th February 2011

Good morning bloggers.

It’s a gorgeous day here, with mild sun and just a touch of warmth in the air. I can’t quite believe tomorrow is my last day ;(

Our pair of Lesser Redpolls have been spotted again yesterday so I hope they have ‘settled’ in the area.I caught a fleeting glimpse of one our adult Squirrels: this one had a dark brown tail. Finally all the ice has now cleared from the Loch, so lots more wildlfowl should arrive on the loch very soon. When I popped into the hides earlier I spotted a few Golden eye and a trio of Teal on the far side of the loch.

Happy blogging and take care,

Charlotte
